Born from a belief that every young woman matters
Benevolent Hands Community Foundation Inc. was founded to confront an urgent and often invisible crisis: each year, young women age out of the foster care system with little support, facing the very real risk of homelessness, exploitation, and instability.
What began as a vision to provide more than just a roof has grown into a comprehensive model of care — combining safe transitional housing with life skills, mentorship, education, and workforce readiness so every resident can build a future of independence and dignity.
Our Mission
Benevolent Hands Community Foundation Inc. provides safe, high-quality transitional housing and comprehensive life-empowerment services for young women ages 18–24 aging out of foster care in the Greater Tampa Bay area. Through a supportive tiny home community model, we prevent homelessness and exploitation while equipping residents with the skills, resources, and support needed to achieve long-term stability, independence, and economic mobility.
Our Vision
Within the next three years, Benevolent Hands Community Foundation Inc. will develop and fully operate a thriving tiny home community in the Greater Tampa Bay area that serves as a model for transitional housing and supportive services for young women aging out of foster care. We will serve 30–45 residents annually, with at least 80% successfully transitioning to stable housing, employment, or post-secondary education.
