Latoya HinsonFounder & President
Latoya Hinson is the Founder and President of Benevolent Hands Community Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young women aging out of foster care through safe transitional housing, life-skills development, and long-term support. With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, operations, and community service, she has devoted her career to helping others with compassion, integrity, and purpose. Inspired by the challenges young adults face after foster care, Latoya envisions a tiny home community that provides safe housing, mentorship, education, employment resources, and essential life skills. As a servant leader, she is committed to restoring hope, building confidence, and creating opportunities that empower young women to achieve independence and lasting success.

Within the next three years, our vision is to develop a thriving tiny home community in the Greater Tampa Bay area — a planned model for transitional housing and supportive services for young women aging out of foster care.
Dignified homes would provide safety and stability, while a connected community would surround residents with mentorship, life-skills development, education, employment support, and preparation for independent living.
